Breast Cancer Awareness Event which includes the Beauty Is... premiere, the Pink Balloon Project Photo Exhibit and the Cut Out Cancer Hair-styling Competition.
Join us
for a great event that will take place on May 4th at the
Intercontinental Hotel. The event will feature the Beauty Is… premiere,
which documents the struggles and triumphs of eight breast cancer survivors.
The documentary portrays first-person accounts of the effects of cancer and
shows the making of the pink balloon project photo exhibit by John Grant.
OnMilwaukee, the Intercontinental Hotel and Casablanca on Brady will be sponsoring the evening’s activities.
The event will also include vendor booths and a silent auction. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Susan G. Komen Southeastern Wisconsin.
The event
will also include the Cut Out Cancer hair-styling competition which will be
hosted and judged by celebrity stylist, Gregory Patterson, Leigh McNabb, radio
personality from Milwaukee’s KISS-FM, and Jordan Dechambre, fashion expert.
Following
the competition will be a fashion show, sponsored Luci Boutique, Shape and Blou
Boutique. OnMilwaukee, the Intercontinental Hotel and Casablanca on Brady will be sponsoring the evening’s activities.
